Christine Kazarian is one of a few artists performing new improvised and contemporary academic music for harp.
Graduated from St.Petersbrg Conservatory. Member of such musocal projects as Radical Muzak Septet (Switzerland / Russia), PRAED orchestra!, {instead} ensemble, “Quiet string evening” duo (with SergeyFilatov), Mi Primer ensemble (duo Bogomolova-Kazaryan) and other improvisational and new academic projects.
In December 2017, the German Edition Wandelweiser released a CD with the music of Eva-Maria Houben performed by Kristine Kazaryan and Tatyana Bogomolova, the first CD on this label with Russian musicians.
She performed in Germany (Berlin, Dresden), Poland (Warsaw), Latvia (Riga, Liepaja), Finland (Helsinki), Armenia (Yerevan), Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), Belarus, as well as in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Tula, Zelenograd, Ulan-Ude (Buryatia), Vel. Novgorod and St. Petersburg.
